The Orleans Parish Assessor’s Office has extended the LAT 5 Business Personal Property Self-Reporting Form deadline to Monday, May 22, 2023.

The LAT 5 is a declaration of a business’s movable property, including merchandise/inventory, fixed assets, equipment, furnishings and leasehold improvements.

The LAT 5 forms were mailed out in mid-March to all business owners in Orleans Parish and are also available for download online on the Forms page at nolaassessor.com. Business owners can also file electronically by clicking the E-File link at nolaassessor.com

This is an extension of the original April 1, 2023, deadline.
